Enwise selected for pilot demo in Budweiser China Innovation 100+ lab

On September 6, 2024, the 2024 Pitch Day of Budweiser China 100+ Innovation Lab was successfully held at Budweiser Nantong Brewery.

This year marks the fifth year that Budweiser China 100+ Innovation �Lab has successfully entered the exploration of its value chain sustainable development path. In the process of exploring with many upstream and downstream partners and countless innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises, the 100+ Innovation Lab has continuously upgraded and successfully achieved a number of phased pilot results. In April this year, the 100+ Innovation Alliance was officially established to build a sustainable innovation ecosystem, deepen cross-border cooperation, and gather multiple partners such as government, industry, academia, research, and finance.

Focusing on the 2025 sustainable development goals of Budweiser Group, the 100+ Innovation Center released four major challenge topics in March: low-carbon value chain, circular packaging, sustainable agriculture, and imaginative business, recruiting innovative and entrepreneurial teams to jointly build a sustainable innovation ecosystem in an innovative, cooperative, and open manner.

After nearly three months of recruitment and one-on-one "interviews", Enwise has been selected as one of the 12 innovative and entrepreneurial teams, entered the 100+ Innovation Lab pitch dag. To showcasing the innovative solutions for sustainable development of the value chain proposed by Enwise for Budweiser China and its industrial partners Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation and Huaxing Glass.

During the pitch, the judges carefully evaluated the innovative solutions of the team from multiple dimensions, including influence performance, business performance, team background, and fit with Budweiser China and industry/value chain partners.

The food and beverage industry produces 170 million tons of organic solid waste every year, which is equivalent to 2.6% of global carbon emissions. Reducing the production of organic solid waste and carbon emissions is believed to be the common sustainability goals of all food and beverage industry practitioners. Enwise presented the Budweiser team the turn-key solution of the green power station in the factory. To upcycle solid waste generated by Budweiser Brewery into bioenergy. In recent years, Enwise technology has attracted huge amounts of customers from food and beverage industry, we believe our solution will change this industry into a more sustainable community.
